Live Action Webcams

Live Webcams in action...

This first live streaming video on this page is being captured using a Logitech USB QuickCam attached to the TAU1 server and broadcast using WEBCAM32 software. The image is periodically refreshed by a client side Javascript provided by WEBCAM32. The latest Java 2 Runtime Environment should be installed for best results.

The second live streaming video on this page is being captured using an IP-based DLINK DCS-900 web camera that functions as its own server which has a direct ethernet connection to the same LAN which hosts the TAU1 server. The image shown here is refreshed by a server side Java class, xplug.class.

The third live streaming video on this page is being captured using an IP based Panasonic BL-C1 Petcam that functions as its own server and which has a direct ethernet connection to the same LAN which hosts the TAU1 server. (Note: The software for this camera requires a username and password for Internet access. While there is a workaround for this requirement when streaming video embedded in a web page such as this to users of the Safari or Firefox browsers, there is no work around for Internet Explorer users. Those still using Internet Explorer may access the webcam by clicking HERE and entering username as the username and password as the password.)
