Land Rovers

In The Cave
Me and my Land Rover in a cave adjacent to an abandoned quarry at Hamish Norton's estate in Sheffield, Massachusetts.

The Story of My Land Rover

The Story of My Land Rover This is the story of how I came to buy my NAS (North American Specification) Defender 110 in 1993. And how that purchase changed my life. The pictures were taken off road in the White Mountain National Forest of New Hampshire during September 1995 on one of my many mountain climbing excursions to northern New Hampshire.

Saying Good-Bye

Saying Good-bye These pictures were taken just four days before my truck was delivered to a new owner in Connecticut. After much mental and emotional debate, I put my 110 up for sale in the fall of 2003 where a qualified buyer was found within 72 hours. These photographs were prepared for that buyer and show my Defender with its new Arb bumper on the front. At the time of the sale, the truck had approximately 130,000 miles on it.

Cityside Garage

Living in greater Boston with my Rover would have been a lot less pleasant if I had been forced to depend on the local Land Rover dealers for service. My solution was Cityside Garage in Holliston where Alan Elliot cared for my 110 from 1997 through 2003.
